Story
Shizuku Gallery is an art gallery based in Yakushima Island, Kagoshima.
Designed and Built by jewelry designer Kei Nakamura and painter Yuko Takada in 2012.
Shizuku Gallery has been exhibiting and selling their art works, jewelry, wedding rings, and pictures made in this island.
Shizuku means a drop in Japanese.
“A small drop eventually makes a big ripple.
”Amazing possibility is hidden in a small act, small existence.
We wanted to make the place like a small drop that creates big a ripple.
We would be pleased if we could share the work born here Yakushima day by day.
